摘要
中国对中东欧文学的译介虽稍晚于西欧,但如果将视野越出文学的范围则可以发现,现代中国对中东欧特别是波兰和匈牙利的关注在19、20世纪之交曾经形成一个特定的文化热点,这也是中东欧文学在中国译介的开端。这个开端在题材和方式上从"亡国史鉴"的编创开始,在体材上以戏剧为主要肇端,然后进入小说等文体和"专业化"的译介,这样的开端与中国近代的世界境遇相关,也预兆了20世纪中国翻译文学史的一个重要线索和基调。
China started to translate and introduce Central and Eastern European literature a little later than Western Europe did. However, as early as the turn of the 20^th century, China had already bred a fever for the wider Polish and Hungarian culture. That time point is dated as the outset of China's translation and introduction of Central and Eastern European literature. Back then, "historical lessons from national subjugation" was the first subject matter to be adapted and rewritten on, with drama as the major form. Later on, fiction, among other forms of literature, took up the dominant part in the "professional" stage of translation and introduction. A beginning of that kind correlated with China's situation against the World at the time, and also presaged how China's history of translated literature of the 20th century would develop.
