摘要
空间作为文学书写和阐释的重要元素,是现代文学艺术揭示主题的重要手法。在当代空间理论视野下,《喜福会》所描述的母女角色、夫妻关系和言语方式等冲突,源于中美异质文化空间;而她们的最终和解,说明了异质文化也可以达到和谐与融合。小说对中美两种异质文化从冲突走向融合的诠释,传达了对待异质文化的基本态度,给人们以有益的启示。
Space,being an essential element in literature writing and interpretation,is an important mean to reveal the theme in modern literature art. In the view of space theory,the conflicts between mother and daughter,husband and wife and that of the speech acts all originate from the different culture space of China and America.Meanwhile,the final reconciliation indicates that harmony and integration can be accomplished between different cultures. Through interpretation of the transformation from conflicts to integration between the different cultures of China and America,the novel conveys the basic attitude on different cultures and brings about beneficial implications.
