谭恩美在《喜福会》中通过对华裔女儿这一代的失败婚姻的描写,展现了男权文化对女性根深蒂固的影响和压迫以及女性对此的反抗和斗争的精神。也表明了不管是在东方还是西方,幸福婚姻的追求一直是个亘古不变的话题。本文以丽娜和许露丝的婚姻为切点,试探讨第二代华裔女性如何在婚姻中寻找属于自己的位置。
The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan describes the failed marriage about the American-born Chinese daughters,showing that the impact of the deep-rooted patriarchal culture and the depression on the women and their spirit of resistance and struggle.What’s more,it also shows that no matter where it is,in the East or West,pursuit of happy marriage has always been a constant hot topic.The paper aims to analyze how Lina and Rose,who stand for the second American Chinese women generation,and find out their true happiness.
