摘要
韵散结合是我国古代小说尤其是白话小说的一大文体特征。古代白话小说韵散结合的文体特征具有深厚的佛教渊源。首先,白话小说的语体源于佛教的"译经体"。其次,白话小说中韵文有两种用法:一为"补充式",即与散文相互补充,各自表达独立内容,共推叙事进程;二为"重复式",即在散文叙述有关内容后,用韵文重复一遍,对其进行铺陈渲染。第二种用法源自汉译佛经。第三,白话小说中的"有诗为证"等韵文导语,虽然与史传及志怪、传奇等文言小说有一定传承关系,但其功能用法主要源自演述佛经故事的俗讲、变文。我国白话小说在发展过程中,既延续了民族文化基因,又接受并融合了外来佛教文化影响,两者交相作用,终于形成具有鲜明特色的韵散结合的文体特征。
The mixture of verse and prose, as a stylistic feature of ancient Chinese novels, especially that of vernacular novels, has the deep root in Buddhism. F irs t, the style of vernacularnovels derives from the translation of Buddhist scriptures. Second, the verse in vernacular novelshas two usages： one is used for the ＂supplement＂, which says that the verse and prose complementeach other and express their own independent content, pushing the narrative process; the other onestems from Chinese - translated Buddhist sutra and refers to the ＂repetition＂, which means the verserepeats relevant content that the prose has narrated？ playing the role of elaborating and rendering. Third, verse introductions in vernacular novels like ＂be proved with poem＂ mainly originate from＂ sujiang＂ and ＂ bianwen＂ of Buddhist stories, despite some certain inheritance from HistoricalRecords, Zhiguai fiction, legend novels and other classic novels. In short, during the course of development, Chinese vernacular novels both keep national culture gene in a continuation andaccept the influence of foreign Buddhist culture. In particular, under the effect of the lat ter, vernacular novels eventually form the distinctive stylistic feature of the combination of verse andprose.
