PVD流行与猪场规模(OR=I.340,P=0.020)、外来人员进入生产区(OR=4.740,P=0.007)、距县级以上公路距离(OR=0.389,P=0.008)、病死猪无害化处理与否(OR=0.244,P=0.035)有关联。 [Objective]To evaluate the prevalence of piglet viral diarrhea (PVD) in large-scale pig farms in Guangdong province and analyze the related risk factors of PVD outbreaks.[Methods] 197 scale pig farms were investigated from December 2013 to March 2014 and then a cross-sectional study was conducted by logistic regression analysis. [Results] The prevalence rate of PVD at the farm level was 48.55% (95%CI : 42.27%-56.21%) . Four factors including herd size (OR=1.340, P=0.020), the behavior of visitors entering the breeding area (OR=4.740, P=0.007), the distance to roads above the county level (OR=0.389, P=0.008 ) and the bio-safety disposal of diseased and dead pigs ( OR=0.244, P-0.035), were associated with prevalence of PVD. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the behavior of visitors entering the breeding area (OR=5.003, 95% CI : 1.555-16.096, P=0.007) was the risk factor of PVD outbreaks. Immunization with the porcine epizootic diarrhea and transmissible gastroenteritis (PED+TGE) vaccines (OR=2.012, 95% CI : 1.035-3.912, P=0.039), bio-safety disposal of diseased and dead pigs (OR=0.306, 95%CI : 0.080~1.175, P=0.084), distance to roads above the county level (OR=0.530, 95% CI : 0.080-1.175, P=0.090) might be confounding factors. [Conclusion] The entry of visitors was confirmed as an important risk factor of PVD outbreaks, which indicated the importance of bio-security measures for PVD prevention and control.
