摘要
读者是翻译过程中译者首要考虑的核心因素之一,在某种程度上讲,它直接影响着译者在翻译过程中所采取的策略、方法与技巧。儿童读者,作为特殊的受众群体,有着特殊的语言特征、心理特征和社会特征,对文本的改写产生重要的影响,因此在翻译时,译者必须采用特殊的翻译处理方法,才能满足儿童的阅读需求。儿童版《格列佛游记》就是译者综合考虑儿童读者特征而"生产"的文本。本文以《格列佛游记》儿童译本为例,探讨儿童读者对改写的生成、改写的策略、方法及技巧的影响,从而反映读者在翻译中的重要地位。
The readers, as one key factor translators consider first in the process of translation, influencedirectly translators, practices in their translating. The children, as a special group showing unique characteristicsin language uses, mindsets and social behaviors, impact the rewriting of text. In order to meet their demands,translators should adopt proper strategies, methods and skills. The Chinese-version Gulliver, s Travelsfor children is one that takes its target readers into consideration. This paper seeks to probe into influences thatchildren readers make on rewriting of the text, and concrete strategies, methods and skills of rewriting so thatit can reflect the important status of readers in translation by taking the Chinese translation of Gulliver9 s Travelsas an example.
