摘要
本文通过使用语料库软件UAM Image Tool 2.0建立了期刊封面语类的多模态语料库,并进行标注和统计分析,在系统功能语言学的语类研究框架之下,对期刊封面这一多模态语类的特征进行归纳和描述。在语类结构潜势的基础上,提出了语类结构原型这一概念,并且勾画出期刊封面语类的结构原型,在一定程度上优化了系统功能语言学的语类分析方法,使之适用于由图文组成的静态多模态语类的描写。文章进一步对比了学术期刊封面和大众期刊封面的语类特征差异,通过实证研究证实了生产和消费过程对多模态语类特征的制约作用。
By using Corpus software UAM Image Tool 2.0, we establish a multimodal corpus of journals covers, and through tagging and statistical analysis of the corpus, the generic features of multimodal journal covers are summarized and described within the framework of Systemic Functional Linguistics. We propose the concept of Generic Structure Prototype on the basis of generic structure potential, and sketch out the Generic Structure Prototype of journals covers, thereby improving the SFL genre analysis method, making it suitable for muhimodal genre analysis. And by further comparison of the generic features of academic journal and popular journal covers, we verify through empirical study, that multimodal genre features are constrained by the production and consumption process.
