Progress on Involvement of Cyclooxygenase-2 in Toxic Injury Induced by Environmental Factors

摘要 环氧合酶-2(cyclooxygenase-2,COX-2)是诱导型酶,可被促炎细胞因子、肿瘤促进剂、有丝分裂原和生长因子等高度诱导,参与炎症反应、细胞增殖和凋亡等多种病理过程。本综述重点关注COX-2与环境因素诱导的毒性损伤中细胞内质网应激和自噬的关系,阐述micro RNA和COX-2基因PTGS2单核苷酸多态性介导的表观遗传学和遗传学调控机制,为以COX-2作为干预靶点进行环境因素诱导毒性损伤的预防提供依据。 Cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), an important inducible enzyme,can be induced by pro-inflammatory cytokines, tumor promoters, mitogens, and growth factors in a variety of cells, involving in many pathological processes, such as inflammation, cell proliferation, and apoptosis. This review focused on the relationship of COX-2 with endoplasmic reticulum stress and autophagy, describing the mechanisms of epigenetics and genetics mediated by mlcroRNA and the single nucleotidc polymorphism of COX-2 gene (PTGS2) in the injury and toxicity induced by environmental factors. This review provided insight of COX-2 as a molecular intervention target against the toxic injuries induced by environmental factors.
