摘要
生成语法和概念隐喻是认知语言学中最具影响力的两个理论,引起了国内外众多学者的关注。任何一个理论的起源和发展都有一定的背景,以理性主义和心智主义为基础的生成语法源于乔姆斯基与结构主义的决裂,开启了第一代认知语言学,而以体验哲学为基础的概念隐喻理论被认为是对传统客观主义哲学的革命,它拉开了第二代认知语言学的帷幕。
Generative Grammar and Conceptual Metaphor are two most influential theories in cognitive linguistics,arousing great interest of many researchers around the world.Every theory has its own origin and background,and these two theories are no exception.Based on rationalism and mentalism,Generative Grammar theory is developed from Chomsky＇s rebelling against structuralism,starting the first generation of cognitive linguistics era,while founded on Embodied Philosophy,Conceptual Metaphor theory is considered to be a revolution to traditional objectivism,initiating the second generation of cognitive linguistics era.
