摘要
理性主义和经验主义在以往的哲学研究中历来处于对立的地位.本文通过对Chomsky和Lakaff在几个相关问题上语言观的对比,阐述了Chomsky语言观中的纯理性主义和Lakoff的体验主义哲学观.体验主义哲学认为语言既不是纯心智的产物,也不是完全独立于内部的客观存在,而是人类身体与世界反复互动的结果,是理性和经验结合的产物.
Rationalism and empiricism have been in the opposite position in the history of philosophical study. This paper compares Chomsky's rational views with Lakoff's embodied realistic views on some questions related to language, and emphasizes the embodied realistic views that language is neither a pure mental entity, nor an absolutely objective existence separate from the innate world, but the result of the repeated interaction between human body and the world,and therefore, the result of integration of rationalism and empiricism.
