摘要
文章是对20世纪80年代以来英语世界的"非西方"现当代建筑的研究综述,可为中国近代以来的建筑历史写作提供借鉴,并指出未来的中国近现代建筑史研究可以增加"非西方"为参照系,在全球图景下发掘更丰富和多层的历史。
This article provides a general survey of the research on the non-Western modern architectural and urban history in the English academic world, it aims to introduce the fruitful and inspiring research works to the Chinese audience, and urges for a global perspective for the study of Chinese modern and contemporary architectural and urban history by taking into account the interactions and interrelationships between China and the non-Western world.
