摘要
基于语料库技术,旨在探寻中关运动医学论文标题写作的异同。通过自建中关运动医学论文标题语料库,对中关论文标题的结构和词汇进行了全面的对比。结果表明,中关运动医学论文的英文标题存在显著差异。中刊复合型标题的使用比例低于美刊。中刊中心名词前使用定冠词的比例显著高于美刊,而使用前置形容词的比例显著低于美刊。中刊标题中"effect(s)of…on…"结构过度使用等。本研究的发现对帮助国内运动医学研究者写好英文标题有指导作用。
Based on the corpus techniques, this paper aims to investigate the similarities and differences of the English titles between Chinese and American sports medicine paper. The Chinese and American journal English titles corpora were established and a comprehensive comparative study was conducted on the structures and diction of the English titles. It is found that the English titles of Chinese sports medicine papers differed significantly with the ones of American papers. The compound title structures were less frequently used in the Chinese journal than its American counterpart. The Chinese journal tended to add the definite articles before the head nouns while the American journal used more adjectives. And the Chinese journal titles overused the ＂effect（s） of... on ...＂ structure. These findings can guide domestic sports medicine researchers to write better English titles.
