摘要
转述动词是学术论文中常见的一种转述手段,并在学术论文中扮演着不可或缺的角色。基于自建的60篇英语学术论文语料库,结合Swales关于学术论文的语类结构模式,以元话语为视角,探讨学术论文中不同语类结构中转述动词的使用异同。结果显示:由于各语类结构在学术论文中所起作用不同,转述动词前搭配使用的自称语有所不同;不同的转述动词传达出的作者态度有所不同;转述动词作为据素所体现的信息来源不尽相同。本文旨在帮助学术论文写作者提高他们在学术论文写作中恰当运用转述动词表达转述意义的能力。
Using reporting verbs as a reporting means is common in academic articles, which plays an indispensable role in academic articles. Based on the data analysis of 60 academic articles, this paper inte- grated Swales＇s generic structure model on English academic articles to expole the use similarities and differences among reporting verbs in different generic structures from the perspective of metadiscourse. The results shows that the collocated self-mentions are different by the various functions of generic struc- tures in academic articles, and attitudes and information sources of reporting verbs are also different. This paper aims at helping academic article writers to adopt reporting verbs properly to express reporting mean- ing.
