摘要
工科硕士研究生翻译写作课的教学与教法值得探讨。针对工科研究生已具备较强的专业阅读能力和认知能力等特点,英语教学的重点放在如何通过英汉两种语言的对比来提高学生的实际语言应用能力,即在语法翻译教学法的启示下,通过讲解和操练翻译技巧以帮助学生认识到英汉两种语言之间的思维差异,通过写作练习巩固学生所学到的语言应用知识。
This paper probes into the teaching methodology and practice of the writing translation class offeredfor master degree candidates majoring in engineering. Considering the comparatively superior majorrelated English reading and cognitive ability of the students,the paper proposes that the focus of English class should lie in improving the students＇ ability to use English language with the help of translation method which aims at introducing translation skills and initiate corresponding translation practice through comparison and contrast of the two languages.
