摘要
NCATE作为美国最具权威的教师教育认证机构,通过建立教师教育机构标准并和学科专业组织之一"TESOL"合作建立ESL教师培养方案标准,对ESL教师教育机构进行双重认证,为ESL教师教育机构的培养质量提供专业判断、指导,并鼓励不断改进教师教育品质、引领教师教育改革、保障ESL教师教育的培养质量;而且NCATE在认证中不断发展成为较为完善成熟的教师教育质量双重认证制度,这对我国英语教师培养质量保障有重要的启示与借鉴意义。
NCATE is the most authoritative teacher education certification body in the United States.Through establishing the standard of educational institutions and cooperation with one of the professional organizations——＂TESOL＂,the ESL teacher training program standard is established to provide professional judgment,guidance,and encouragement to improve teacher education quality,and to lead teacher education reform and ensure the quality of ESL teacher education.NCATE has become a more mature teacher education quality system with double certification through the continuous certification development,which has important implications for China＇s English teacher training quality assurance.
