摘要
儿童因其自身的特质,始终处于与成人共在的被动结构中。儿童被教育,成人显示自己的权力;儿童被解放,实为成人向教育的精神忏悔;儿童被学习,则是成人的觉醒。如果作为教育者的成人永无觉醒,那么他们只能循环往复地否定自己。觉醒后的成人可以少一些教育的自信,多一些对成人世界的省思。教育的自信少了,学习儿童的勇气就会增益;对成人世界的省思多了,我们意识中的儿童就会由教育的对象而成为学习的对象,教育的面貌会因此发生历史性的改变。
Owing to their own characteristics,children are always passive under their co-existing construction with adults. Children being educated means adults utilizing their power; children being freed implies adults expressing their regret to the spirit of education; children made to learn indicates adults awakening. If adults as the educators never awaken,then they will repeatedly and deterministically negate themselves. Awakening adults may enjoy less freedom of educating,but more reflection on the adult world. Less educating self-confidence will mean more courage on the part of children,and more reflection on the adult world will indicate that children in our mind will convert from the object of education to the subject of learning. In this way,there will come a historic change in the situation of education.
