摘要
汉英两种语言所承载的不同的思维模式决定了其语法结构、表达方式的差异。翻译过程是个单向性的从源语到目的语的语言转化过程。本文提出译者在翻译过程中应充分把握汉英两种语言的表达特点,在翻译实践中遵循从"主题"向"主谓"及"前端重量"向"末端重量"转换的两大原则,使译文更符合目标语受众者的表达习惯和认知思维模式。
The separate thinking models carried by Chinese and English determine their differences in grammar structures as well as means of expression. Translation is a unidirectional conversion process from original languages to target languages. The author hereby puts forward that, in the process of translation, the translator needs to fully master the expression features between Chinese and English and follow such two important translating principles as theme--subject-predicate principle and front weight＂-end weight principle to make the translated version accord with the expression habits and the thinking models of the target readers.
