认知语用观照下的汉语话语标记语及英译——以话语标记语“可是”为个案

摘要 话语标记语是言语交际中的一种普遍话语现象,在话语构建中起到明示导向作用,影响话语生成和理解,认知语用学关联理论为其提供崭新且全面的研究视角。汉语话语标记语"可是"表达形式简单但语用信息丰富,应用关联理论分析其具有五种认知语用功能,从而对话语生成和理解产生不同语用制约。根据"可是"五种认知语用功能,可归纳其在英译中不同的译文表达。因此译者在翻译话语标记语时,应从认知语用推理的角度正确理解原文含义,继而灵活处理,与原作者创作意图达成最佳关联,触发读者的认知联想。 As a common discourse phenomenon in speech community,discourse markers have influence on the generation and understanding in discourse and plays an overt and guiding role in discourse construction.The relevance theory in cognitive pragmatics provides new and complete insight into study discourse markers. Chinese discourse marker"Ke shi"is in simple shape but with rich meanings so it has five different cognitive pragmatic functions with respect to the relevance theory,to some extent what inhibit the discourse generation and understanding. The present paper summarizes the five cognitive pragmatic functions of the translated text of"Kěsh".Therefore,when translating discourse markers,translators should figure out the source text with cognitive pragmatic reasoning,and then make flexible translation in order to reach optimal relevance with original writer and trigger the associative cognition of target-oriented readers.
