摘要
作为一种有效语言交流手段,公示语使用范围非常广泛,但翻译公示语并非易事,一般语言翻译规则也不能完全套用在其上。关联翻译理论以其实用性强而著称,对公示语翻译有着强大的解释力。本文以关联理论为框架对广西公示语翻译进行研究,得出的结论是要实现公示语的最佳交际效果,公示语翻译须以最佳关联原则为指导,让受众以最小的认知努力去获取最佳的语境效果。
As a specific kind of communication,public signs are widely used.But the translation of public signs is not so easy.Relevance-theoretic Translation Theory,a pragmatic translation theory,offers a new basis to the translation of public signs.The article aims to study the translation of public signs in Guangxi from the perspective of Relevance-theoretic Translation Theory.It is pointed out that translators should always be guided by the optimal relevance principle to achieve the best communication results so that the readers can use the least effort to get the exact context of the public signs.
