摘要
MI理论是美国哈佛大学心理学教授加德纳博士提出的关于人类潜能的新理论,它认为每个人至少具有九种不同的智能。将这一理论应用于英美文学的教学,对教师的“教”和学生的“学”都有重要指导意义。本文探讨九种智能在英美文学教学实践中的运用,指出二者的结合不仅能增强学生的学习兴趣,而且有利于其综合素质的全面提高。
Theory of Multiple Intelligence, concerning the potential of human beings, is a new theory put forward by the psychology professor Doc. Gardner from Harvard University of America, which holds the view that there are at least nine different intelligences as concerning every human being. Applying this theory into the teaching of British and American Literature will be of great benefit to both teachers' "teaching" and students' "learning" . This article explores the application of the nine kinds of intelligences into the teaching practice of British and American Literature, thus pointing out the combination of the two can not only enhance students' interest in learning, but also improve their comprehensive ability.
