摘要
作为语言文化的重要组成部分,英语习语是外语教学中的不可忽视的一部分。但是,大部分学生感到很难正确理解和掌握习语。通过分析概念隐喻理论和习语特点,指出概念隐喻理论能够明确习语的语义理据,提出了基于概念隐喻的习语教学方法。
As an important part of language and culture,the learning of English idiom cannot be ignored in foreign language teaching. However,it is difficult for most students to understand and master English idioms correctly. Through the analysis of conceptual metaphor theory,this article finds that conceptual metaphor can clarify the semantic motivation of idioms and puts forward an advanced English idiom teaching method which is based on conceptual metaphor theory.
