摘要
本文采用体裁分析方法,对比分析中英文企业社会责任年报的语轮结构特点。研究发现:1)中英文企业年报的语轮结构大体相同,都包含必选语轮和可选语轮,语轮内采用"总括-分述"的语篇结构,但语轮分布、顺序和种类存在差异;2)80%的中文年报都包含外部环境语轮,且篇幅较长,而英文年报新增报告摘要语轮,且各语轮顺序较灵活,负面信息披露和征求反馈两类语轮使用率较高;3)在词汇层面,中英文企业年报的语轮实现策略存在显著差异,两类年报均常用第一人称代词和形容词最高级策略,但中文年报在总数和种类上明显较多,还在特定的语轮中大量采用政治性词汇和缩略语策略,体现出政治话语特点,反映出中英文商务报告体裁的跨文化差异。
This paper makes a contrastive move analysis between Chinese and English corporate social responsibility reports( CSR) from the perspective of genre analysis. The findings are the follows. Firstly,both Chinese and English CSRs have similar move structures of obligatory and optional moves,but differ in distribution,sequence and type,with the adoption of the general to specific patterns within the move. Secondly,80% of the Chinese CSRs contain the long moves of external environment,while the English CSRs include new moves of report summary,high percentage of moves of negative information disclosure and soliciting feedback,as well as more flexible move orders. Thirdly,both types of CSRs use lexical strategies for their move functions in that the Chinese CSRs adopt more numbers and types of the first person pronouns and superlatives,as well as more political words and compressed phrases. The finding of intercultural differences between Chinese and English business report genre in the study has implications for understanding business report genre and business language teaching and research in China.
