摘要
文化因素是医疗实践活动中不可忽视的重要因素。为应对患者的多元化文化背景,解决医患沟通和种族/民族间的医疗不平等问题,美国医学院校普遍开展了跨文化医学教育。根据目前的中国医学院校的课程设置的客观实际,可以借鉴美国跨文化医学教育经验,进一步拓展医学背景下的大学英语跨文化教学,以提高中国医学生的跨文化医学能力。
Culture plays the very important role in the doctor-patient communication and has has great impact on the healthcare outcomes. In order to solve the such problems and reduce the healthcare disparities, the cross-cultural competence education was developed in most of America medical schools. Based on the experiences of America cross-cutural medical education and the current education situtaion in the Chinese medical schools, the cross-cultural teaching of college English can be expanded in the medical situtation and takes the responbilities to develop the students' cross-cultural competence.
