摘要
众所周知,日常疾病治疗离不开中成药,而中成药药名的翻译也扮演着非常重要的角色。而市面上绝大部分中成药药名的翻译都只停留在拼音这一层面,因此中成药药名英译规范化势在必行。本文以"功能对等理论"为指导,提出中成药药名英译的几种方法,希望能为国内中成药英译实践添砖加瓦。
As is known to us, since the daily disease treatment can＇t live without the Chinese patent medicine, the translation of the names of Chinese patent medicine plays an important role. While most of the Chinese patent medicines in the market are translated by pinyin, which makes it imperative to specific the translation of the names of Chinese patent medicines. Several translation methods are put forward in the thesis under the guidance of ＂Functional Equivalence Theory＂, hoping to make a little contribution to the Chinese patent medicine translation.
