摘要
"城市教师教育计划"是芝加哥大学在其原教育学院关闭后推行的教师培养计划,也是芝加哥大学重回基础教育和教师教育领域并进行综合改革的尝试。该计划由教育基础学习、驻校实习、入职教育三个阶段构成,培养周期为"2+3"共5年。它在芝加哥市乃至全美都产生了一定的影响,但也存在培养定位较窄、规模过小及教育理论支撑不足等问题。
The University of Chicago Urban Teacher Education Program(UTEP) was pursued by University of Chicago after the School of Education was closed,and UTEP is anattempt of returning to fundamental education and teacher education,and executing compre-hensive reform. The program is a fiveyear experience which includes a two-year MAT program and threeyear post-graduation supports. Foundations of education,residency,and inductive education are provided during the teacher preparation. UTEP has become successful and influential in not only Chicago but the whole America. However,UTEP has someshortcomings as well,such as the relative narrow target,small scale and the lack of theory foundation.
