摘要
新课程的实施对教师专业素质和教师创新能力提出了更高的要求,教师的专业素养直接影响着新课程改革的成败。如果不把研究的焦点对准教师,英语教学的改革将不会有大的作用。从教师自身、学校和社会三个方面分析原因,提出对策。对于提高农村英语教师的整体水平,为教育行政部门提出可行的解决对策,缩小城乡英语教育差距,从而满足社会发展的需求,具有极强的实践意义。
The implementation of the new curriculum puts forward higher requirement for the professional quality of teachers and teachers＇ innovative ability. The teachers＇ professional quality will directly affect the success or failure of the new curriculum reform. In the rural areas, if the society doesn＇t pay close attention to the teachers, it can not make big improvement in English teaching reform. In this paper, the author observes and interviews several of the countryside junior middle school English teachers through a long-term contact with them to find that there exist big problems in the countryside junior middle school English teachers＇ development .The author has a careful analysis of the causes from the teachers themselves, the schools and society and puts forward some corresponding countermeasures. This paper has very strong practical significance for improving the overall level of English teachers in rural areas, putting forward feasible countermeasures for the administrative departments of education and narrowing the gap between urban and rural English education so as to meet the needs of social development.
