摘要
建立一种作为欣赏的教育,把教育当作是一种艺术活动是杜威教育哲学的理想目标。在杜威看来,教育与艺术之间有着天然的联系,它们都来自于人的本能与需要,不仅艺术天生具备着教育的功能,而且教育就是一种艺术活动。艺术对人的感觉的完整呈现,使得教育可以从感觉出发,恢复人的经验的整体性。艺术活动中的想象力与创造力也一直是教育活动最为看重的价值。因此,杜威认为,任何教育都应该像艺术活动那样成为被欣赏的活动。
Taking education as an art is the ideality of Dewey' s education philosophy. According to Dewey, there is a natural relationship between education and art, not only because art has the inher- ent education function, but also because both of them origin from the instinct of human. Art can give people a whole sensation, so the education reform can start from our sense, and then restore our whole experience. The imagination and creation in art are also the highest value of education. So any education can be taken as an appreciate activity like art.
