摘要
创新人才的培养是时代和社会发展对高等教育提出的新要求。大学英语作为本科院校的一门重要必修课,在培养创新型人才方面应发挥其积极作用。湖北工业大学于2008年进行大学英语教学改革,创造性地开设了ET英语实验班(English Talents:英语人才班),ET英语实验班是针对学校非英语专业开设,按照创新模式培养的大学英语教学实验班。实验班在选拔方式、人才培养目标、教学理念、课程设置、教学模式、教学方法等方面进行了有益的探索和实践,并对2010级ET英语实验班人才培养模式做出阶段性总结。
Innovative talent cultivation is the new requirement of the times and social development for higher education. College English, as an important required course for undergraduate colleges, should play its positive role in cultivating innovative talents. From the year 2008, ET English experimental class was creatively set up to facilitate college English teaching reform in Hubei University of Technology. Aiming at non-English majors in our school, ET English experimental class, based on innovative training model, has made profitable exploration and practice in selection method, the goal of talent cultivation, teaching idea, curriculum, teaching mode, and teaching method. The paper summarizes the talent cultivation model of the 2010 ET English experimental class.
