摘要
当前国内大学英语转型过程中,许多从事ESP研究的专家和学者主张在ESP教材编写过程中应考虑到教师因素,即根据教师情况进行适当调整。本文尝试分析这种观点的理论基础,其在实际教学中存在的弊病,提出教师应当学习专业英语知识,通过学习适应教材,而不是教材来适应教师。
In the current process of transformation of Chinese college English education, many experts and scholars who have been studying ESP maintain that teachers＆#39; factors shall be taken into account in compiling ESP textbooks,namely,shall adapt to teachers＆#39; level. This paper, from the perspective of need analysis of target domain, dwells on the theoretical basis, practical prob-lems and disadvantages of such view and proposes that teachers shall learn professional English knowledge and get themselves adapt to the textbooks instead of otherwise.
