Performance-based assessment is a new and more direct method of checking on students. It plays a very important part in checking students' high-level thinking ability and ability of solving actual problems with what they have learned, in stimulating their motive for learning and in optimizing teaching process.In the meantime, it also provides a new train of thought for the current reform of examination and assessment.
