摘要
为筛选出可替代猪的猪源马链球菌兽医亚种(Streptococcus equi subsp.zooepidemicus,SEZ)感染动物模型,采用不同浓度SEZ强毒株C74-63分别感染兔和豚鼠,连续观察7~10 d,观察临床症状和病理变化,同时与本动物猪对比。C74-63株对豚鼠无致病力;对兔最小致死量为250CFU。感染兔出现神经症状,败血症,体温升高,部分急性死亡;剖解可见兔血液凝固不良,脑膜充血,肝、脾肿大,肺、肝、淋巴结出血等,临床症状随攻毒剂量的增加而加重。猪最小致死量为3 000 CFU,临床症状及病理变化与兔相似。SEZ感染兔发病呈现较好的规律性,可以取代猪SEZ的致病力,为该病动物疫苗的研发提供基础。
This study was to evaluate the virulence of Streptococcus equi subsp.Zooepidemicus (SEZ)of pig origin in a variety of animals and to provide guidance for development of SEZ vaccine.Rabbits and guinea pigs were infected with different concentrations of SEZ strain C74-63,and observed for 7-10 d.The clinical symptoms and pathological changes were analyzed and compared with those in pigs.The re- sults showed that the guinea pigs were not susceptible to the C74-63 strain.The minimum lethal dose (MLD)for rabbits was 200 CFU with symptoms of neurological disorder,septicemia,fever,and acute death (of some of the rabbits);the symptoms got more serious as the infection dosage increased.The infected,rabbits showed pathological changes of bleeding in lungs,liver and lymph nodes,meningeal hyperemia, and hepatosplenomegaly.The MLD for pigs was 3000 CFU with similar clinical symptoms and pathological changes to those of rabbits.These results suggest that the rabbit may be a good infectious animal model instead of the pig for SEZ vaccine study.
