摘要
权力感究竟在何种情况下会让领导者产生更多的自利行为,这个问题一直是众多学者关注的话题。本研究在中国情境下探讨了领导者权力感对其自利行为的影响,考察自恋人格和信任倾向的链式调节作用。研究一采用情景实验法,揭示了领导者权力感对其自利领导行为的正向影响,以及自恋人格对权力感与自利领导行为关系的正向调节效应。对于高自恋型领导而言,领导者权力感对其自利领导行为的影响更强。研究二采用问卷调查法,不仅重复验证了自恋人格在领导者权力感与自利领导行为之间的正向调节作用,还进一步发现,上述调节作用是通过领导者的信任倾向来实现的。以上研究不仅从理论层面上能够推进学界对领导者权力感与自利行为关系的认识,还能为自利领导行为的治理提供启发。
When and where the sense of power give leaders more self-serving behavior?This issue has always been a hot topic of concern to many scholars.This study examines the relationship between the leaders'sense of power and self-serving behavior by focusing on the moderating role of leaders'narcissism and trust propensity. Based on a scenario experiment and a field study,the results revealed that:(1)leaders'sense of power has a significant positive influence on the self-serving leadership behavior;(2)The narcissism facilitated the positive relationship between leaders'sense of power and self-serving leadership behavior,such that the positive relationship was stronger when the leader's level of narcissism was high;(3)the moderating effects of narcissism were mediated by leaders'trust propensity,trust propensity that influenced by narcissism buffered the positive relationship between leaders'sense of power and self-serving leadership.These findings not only contribute to our knowledge on sense of power and self-serving leadership,but also provide some insight into the intervention of self-serving leadership.
