摘要
美国在以《州共同核心标准》为标志的新一轮改革中,明确提出以"College and Career Readiness"作为高中教育目标。系统地梳理该方面的已有研究发现,"College and Career Readiness"并非是"为升学和就业做准备",而是"为大学学习和职业生涯做准备";"为大学学习和职业生涯做准备"的内涵可以从"准备"、"成功"或兼含"准备"和"成功"之义的角度明晰之。以"为大学学习和职业生涯做准备"作为美国高中教育目标是基于一些组织和学者所做的大量实证研究为据而确定的,同时也是国际比较的产物;尽管该目标的确定是理性的过程,但从教育目标的价值追求、性质和内容的角度看,其局限性仍然是不言而喻的。
The Common Core State Standards represents a new round reform to U.S. education, and it puts forward " College and Career Readiness" as the goal of U. S. high school education. Through a comprehensive review of the literature, this article argues that "College and Career Readiness" is not prepared for entering college and job, but to ready for university study and career path- ways. Therefore, "College and Career Readiness" can get its' meaning from the angle of "ready" or "successful", and get its' meaning from both angles. Being "College and Career Readiness" as the goal of U. S. high school education is based on the large number of empirical research which had done by some organizations and scholars in U. S. , and it is a product of international comparison too. The identification of the goal is a rational process, but from the value, nature and content of U. S. high school educational goal, its limitation is selfevident.
