The Development and Interpretation of the Theory of the People's Livelihood on Education

摘要 民本主义教育和平民主义教育思潮是教育民生论的思想源头,中国共产党以人为本、执政为民的理念是教育民生论的理论基础,当代中国教育事业的迅速发展及随之而出现的教育不均衡、不协调、不公平等矛盾和问题是教育民生论发生的现实背景。教育为人民服务是教育民生论的根本宗旨,办人民满意的教育是教育民生论的价值追求,促进教育均衡发展是教育民生论的实践课题。教育民生论的创立与实践为教育基本理论的创新、拓展提供了新的视角和方法论,也为推动和促进教育事业持续发展奠定了新的思想理论基石。 The thoughts of peopleism education and populism education are the source of the theory of the people's livelihood on education, the CPC's ideal of people-oriented, governing for the people is its theory basis, and the rapid development of China's education is its realistic background, during which there' re problems of unevenness of education, incoordination of education, and inequality of education. Education serving for the people is the fundamental purpose of the theory of the people's livelihood on education, running education to make people satisfied is the value pursuit, and promoting the education balanced development is the practical project. The development and practice of the theory of the people's livelihood on education provide the perspective and methodology of the education basic theory creation and expansion, and lay the theoretical foundation to advance sustainable development of education.
