摘要
当前翻译研究关注译者翻译行为发生的特定社会历史文化语境,容易导致对译者主体性的忽视。其实,对任何翻译活动而言,社会历史文化语境的影响力与译者主体性之间均存在着相互牵制、协商与利用的关系,并共同作用于最后的翻译成果,本文拟以1924年洪深改译《少奶奶的扇子》一剧为例,探讨语境制约下译者主体性的实现路径,并通过对译者主体性的探索,揭示洪深改译策略背后真正的意图与目的。
A translator' s activity is indeed influenced by socio-historical context, but this notion may lead to the negligence of the translatior' s subjectivity. Usually, the translation strategy is the result of the negotiation and collaboration between translator' s subjectivity and social-historical context. This can be illustrated by Hong Shen' s translation of Oscar Wilde' s Lady Windermere's Fan, in which Hong succeeded in achieving his personal goal by taking the constraint of socio-historical context into account.
