摘要
当前中国社会的发展改变了城市的语言环境。结合相关的调查来分析中国城市语言环境的变化,同时以粤语事件为例来探讨在新语言环境下语言冲突发生的原因。调查结果显示,中国城市语言环境的变化表现在两个方面,一是城市语言环境逐渐向双语化过渡,二是城市中不同语码的使用空间和地位差异明显。在这样的新环境下,中国出现了像"捍卫粤语"这样的语言冲突事件。对广州事件的分析发现,开放的语言意识和较高的语言能力有助于避免语言冲突事件的发生。
China＇s social development changes recent urban language environment. Base on the relevant sur- vey, analyze the changes in urban language environment and explore the reasons of language conflicts in the new language environment taking the incident of Guangdong dialect as an example. The survey results show that the features of new urban language environment include： 1） urban language gradually changes to a dual -- language 2）According to the space of use and their status, different codes of urban language environment have play an unequal part in everyday life. In this new context, the language conflict such as the event of supporting the use of Guangdong dialect＂ happened. Through the analysis of the event, it is concluded that open language awareness and better language ability can avoid the happening of such similar event.
