摘要
采用1994-2011年中国省级面板数据,基于FGLS模型考察了中国国内贸易成本及其主要影响因素。经验分析结果表明:中国大多数省份的市场一体化程度都有了较大程度提升,开展国内贸易的成本逐步下降;交通基础设施的改善显著降低了空间距离所带来的地理阻隔,但不同交通基础设施的影响不同,铁路网密度的提高显著降低了贸易成本,但公路网密度的提高却未能有效降低贸易成本;地方政府保护仍是影响中国国内贸易成本的重要因素。
By employing the FGLS models with China's provincial panel data from 1994 to 2011, this paper investigated China's domestic trade costs and the main influencing factors upon them. The results of the empirical analysis show that the degree of market integration of most provinces has been largely improved, and the cost of domestic trade has declined gradually. The im- provernent of transportation infrastructure has significantly reduced the geographical barriers brought by spatial distance; but different transportation infrastructures have different impacts: the improvement of the density of railway network has significantly reduced the cost of domestic trade, but the improve- ment of the density of highway network has not. The local protectionism is still an important factor affecting the cost of China's domestic trade.
