Expression and significance of p53 and RUNX3 proteins in human thyroid papillary carcinoma

摘要 目的探讨甲状腺乳头状癌(PTC)中p53蛋白和RUNX3蛋白的表达及临床意义。方法用Western blot方法检测32例PTC和56例正常甲状腺组织中p53蛋白和RUNX3蛋白的表达,并结合临床病理指标进行分析。结果 p53蛋白在PTC组中表达高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.01);RUNX3蛋白在PTC组中表达低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.01)。两者在PTC组织中的表达呈负相关(r=-0.219,P=0.016)。结论 p53基因和RUNX3基因在PTC的发生中起重要作用,p53蛋白的高表达和RUNX3蛋白的低表达可能共同促进了PTC的发生。 Objective To investigate the expression and significance of p53 and RUNX3 proteins in human thyroid papillary carcinoma.Methods The expresstions of p53 protein and RUNX3 protein in 32 cases of PTC and 56 cases of normal thyroid tissue were detected by Western blot.Results The expresstion level of p53 protein in PTC was higher than that in normal control group,the difference had statistical significance(P0.01).The expresstion level of RUNX3 protein in PTC was lower than that in normal control group.the difference had statistical significance(P0.01).The expression of p53 and RUNX3 proteins in PTC had negatively correlation(r=-0.219,P=0.016).Conclusions The p53 gene and RUNX3 gene play an important role during the occuring of PTC.The high expression of p53 protein and the low expression of RUNX3 protein jointly promote the occuring of PTC.
