摘要
杜威教育思想中的一个重要特色,就是提出了教育与艺术之间非同寻常的联系。他把教师当作艺术家,把教育当作一种艺术活动,把教育与艺术都当作是完善我们的经验、进行社会改造过程中必不可少的两个环节。因此,从艺术的角度去理解杜威的教育思想,可以发现杜威心目中理想的教育就是作为审美的教育,这也是杜威美育思想的独特之处。
Different from other educationists, John Dewey put forward the extraordinary relationship between education and art. He regarded the teacher as an artist, education as an artistic activity and education and art as two indispensable links in perfecting our experience and reconstructing our society. Therefore, an understanding of Dewey's educational ideas from an artistic angle can help us arrive at his unique belief that an ideal education is education by aesthetic means.
