摘要
目前,国内掀起了转喻研究的一股热潮,在这股热潮背后,理清转喻的"真面目"——概念本质及运作机制显得至关重要。文章将转喻本质研究分为转喻作为一种修辞格和认知工具的研究,旨在系统梳理国内外的研究现状,进而揭示转喻的特征,为转喻的理论与应用研究打下坚实的基础。
Recently, the study of metonymy is prevalent in China. Therefore, it is of great importance to gain a clear idea of the nature and operation mechanism of metonymy. This article aims to make a systematic literature review of metonymic studies on its nature at home and abroad and thus to lay a foundation for further research on the theory and application of metonymy by classifying metonymic studies into two categories： a rhetorical device and a cognitive tool.
