摘要
在日常交际中极为常见的首词重复表达话语,有着不少形式多样的变体或延伸。如果说前者可以视作狭义的首词重复,那么后者则是广义的,有着丰富的语用功能,可以被说话人用来表达让步、责备、示威等。此外,首词重复变体与传统狭义的首词重复之间在表达形式、语用功能、中英互译方式、对额外话语信息增量的依赖程度等方面也存在着诸多差异。
Epanadiplosis that are quite commonly used in daily communications also have its own morphs or extensions with vari- ous forms. If the former is considered as epanadiplosis in its narrow sense, the latter, on its broader sense, is rich in such prag- matic functions as expressing concession, blame, and threatening, etc. In addition, epanadiplosis morphs and traditional epanadiplosis differ greatly from each other in terms of forms of expression, pragmatic functions, the way of translation between Chinese and English, and the degree of reliance on additional discourse.
