生态语言学视野下地方高校大学英语课堂教学的困境与对策 被引量:10

摘要 生态语言学视角下大学英语课堂教学是一个完整的微观生态系统。大班教学已经成为当今中国高校大学英语课堂教学的主要组织形式,它给课堂教学带来了许多新的问题和挑战,进而使大学英语课堂教学长期处于生态失衡的困境。针对目前地方高校中大学英语教师、学生、教学信息以及课堂环境等之间存在的失衡问题,提出有效利用生态学语言学原理和观点来分析课堂教学生态各因素的作用和联系,通过增加师资投入,提高教师教学能力和专业素质;缩小大班人数规模,开展分级和分类教学;完善课程设置,综合各教学方法和模式;优化课堂内外教学环境等相应的改革建议与对策,促使课堂教学生态因素间相互和谐互动、协调进化,促进地方高校大学英语课堂教学生态系统的良性循环和可持续发展。 In the view of Ecolinguistics,college English classroom teaching and learning is a complete micro-ecosystem.Nowadays,large-class has become the main form of classroom teaching and learning in Chinese college English instructions,which has brought many new problems and challenges,and made classroom teaching and learning of college English be in the mess of ecological imbalance for a long period.Based on analyzing the ecological imbalances of college English teachers,students,teaching information and classroom environment from the ecolingusitic perspective,suggestions and solutions,which include increasing the number of teachers,improving the teaching abilities and professional qualities,reducing the scale of the large class,making relevant grading and classification of teaching,perfecting the curricula,integrating different teaching methods and models,and optimizing both inside and outside environment of classroom teaching,are proposed to create a harmonious interaction and coordinating development of the ecology for these ecological factors,and to promote the classroom ecosystem of college English teaching and learning into the virtuous cycle and sustainable development.
