The graphite cathodes play an important role in aluminium reduction industry due to their excellent properties. They contribute a lot to the stable operation of the cells,increasing the cell productivity and the current efficiency, prolonging the cell life - span, saving energy and improving primary alu- minium purity. The advantages of graphite cathodes are sufficiently proved by the good performances of new SY300 potline in WANJI Aluminum Company for six years operation.
