摘要
GPON ONU用光接收模块的光接收灵敏度和饱和光功率分别要求-28dBm和-8dBm。测试表明,具有2.5Gb/s APD-TIA光接收模块在25℃和85℃下接收光灵敏度和饱和光功率一般没问题,但在-40℃下,部分模块饱和光功率低于-8dBm。分析指出,饱和光功率偏低,主要与APD的结构、温度特性以及TIA、AGC性能有关。
The general requirements of optical receiver sensitivity and maximum input optical power for optical receiver module with 2.5Gb/s APD-TIA used in G-PON are-28dBm and-8dBm.Tests show that the optical receiver sensitivity and max.input optical power are generally not a problem at 25℃ and 85℃,but max.input optical power of some modules is less than-8dBm at-40℃.The analysis points out that low maximum input optical power involves mainly with the inner structure and temperature characteristics of APD,and the performances of TIA and AGC.
