摘要
文化全球化已成为一种不可逆转的趋势,中国文化不会也不能脱离文化全球化,我们必须紧紧抓住全球化带来的发展契机,让世人更好地了解中国,了解中华文化。而翻译在中国文学作品的异境之旅中起着重要的作用。中国的翻译活动历史悠久,源远流长,但是大部分都是文化输入。本文试以《骆驼祥子》四个英译本为例管窥中国文学作品的异境之旅,这些作品要么被无情地改写,要么被误译,因此,文学作品的异境之旅是一个长期的系统工程,需要调动一切可以调动的力量,从而推动我国翻译事业的发展。
Cultural globalization has become an irreversible trend from which Chinese culture won＇t and cannot separate. In other words, we Chinese are supposed to seize the golden opportunities to further promote Chinese culture, and enable the world to have a better understanding of China and Chinese culture. Translation plays an important role in the process of travel abroad of Chinese literary works. However, cultural input has been dominating the whole process of translation in China. This paper, based on the case study of the four English versions of Luotuo Xiangzi, tries to make an analysis of the travel abroad of Chinese literary works, either relentlessly rewritten or mistranslated. Therefore, it is a long-term project that calls for joint efforts to promote the travel broad of Chinese literary works.
