摘要
研究了电影片名英译汉中受众文化心理关照的现象,在阐述文化心理的内涵、意义的基础上,分析电影片名英译汉中作为受众的中国文化心理特征,并通过实例分析翻译中对这些心理特征的关照。认为,电影片名英译汉中对受众文化心理的关照是必要的,有助于提高电影在目的语文化中的可接受性。同时指出,要用发展的眼光看待受众文化心理及其在翻译中的关照。
This paper aims to discuss the care for recipients' cultural psychology in the English?Chinese translation of film titles.Based on an explanation of the meaning and significance of cultural psychology,the researcher makes an analysis of the characteristics of Chinese cultural psychology(as Chinese audience is the recipient in this case) and reveals how these characteristics are cared for in translation through case study.Then the conclusion is drawn that the care for recipients' cultural psychology in translation of film titles is necessary to improve the acceptability of the film among expected audiences in the target culture.Meanwhile,it is pointed out that a developmental view is needed in dealing with cultural psychology as well as its care in translation.
