摘要
目的探讨自我管理教育对减少老年患者静脉留置针并发症的作用。方法选择2011年1—6月在上海市奉贤区中心医院住院且使用静脉留置针的老年患者300例,随机分为实验组和对照组各150例。对照组常规健康教育,实验组在常规健康教育的基础上,对患者针对性地进行自我管理教育,比较两组患者静脉留置针并发症的发生率。结果实验组发生静脉炎、堵管、局部渗漏和意外脱管情况与对照组比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论实施自我管理教育能提高老年患者的自我管理能力,有效预防和减少老年患者静脉留置针并发症的发生,有利于患者的早日康复。
Objective To investigate the effects of self - management education on decrease in complications of intravenous indwelling needle in aged patients. Methods A total of 300 aged patients with intravenous indwell- ing needle in our hospital from January to June 2011 were selected. They were randomly and equally divided in- to the experimental group and the control group. The control group received routine health education. The ex- perimental group received additional targeted self - management education. The incidence of complications be- tween the two groups was compared. Results The occurrence of phlebitis, pipe blockage, partial leakage, and accident detachment in the experimental group significantly reduced compared with that in the control group (P 〈 0.05 ). Conclusion Self- management education is effective in the prevention and decrease in complica- tions of intravenous indwelling needle in aged patients.
