摘要
ESP教学最终目标是培养学生在一定的工作环境中运用英语进行交际的能力。非英语专业研究生学习EAP课程的目的是提高英语语言应用能力,以做好参与国际性学术交流的准备。从这一需求出发设计了一门非英语专业研究生EAP阅读与写作课程,介绍英语学术论文的语篇结构及语言特点,采用体裁教学法,选取真实的语料,以学生为中心展开课堂活动。这种尝试性的努力旨在为学生阅读乃至撰写出合乎英文规范的学术论文提供指导。
The most important difference between ESP(English for Specific Purposes) and EGP(English for General Purposes) is that the aim of ESP is to foster students' ability to use English proficiently in working conditions.The purpose of non-English major graduates to attend EAP course is improve their proficiency to prepare themselves to participate in international academic communications.The present study has designed an EAP course of reading and writing for non-English major graduates introducing the discourse structure and language features of English research articles.The student-centered classroom activities will be practiced by adopting genre-based approach and authentic language materials.The purpose of the study is attempted to provide instructions for learners to read and finally write acceptable English research articles.
