摘要
应用Czochralski技术生长了掺杂浓度为1%(摩尔分数)的Yb∶LiNbO3晶体,研究了室温下Yb∶LiNbO3晶体的偏振吸收光谱和荧光光谱,分析了Yb3+离子在LiNbO3晶体中的能级分裂情况和各子能级的属性,计算出其吸收截面:980 nm为2.85×10~20cm2(π)和1.98×10-20cm2(σ);发射截面:1030 nm为0.58×10-20cm2(σ),1006 nm为1.69×10-20cm2(π),并对实现激光自倍频进行了讨论。
Yb∶LiNbO_3 crystal doped with 1% Yb^(3+)(mole fraction) was grown by Czochralski method.The absorption and emission spectra were studied.The character of the Stark sublevels for Yb^(3+) ions in LiNbO_3 crystal was determined.The absorption and emission cross section of different wavelength were defined as follows: σ_(abs) in 980 nm are 2.85×10^(-20) cm^2(π) and 1.98×10^(-20) cm^2(σ);σ_(em) in 1030 nm is 0.58×10^(-20) cm^2(σ),1006 nm is 1.69×10^(-20) cm^2(π).
