摘要
由于中西方文化背景不同,英汉词汇的语用处理也会有所差异。本文从关联理论的角度出发,通过英汉词汇的语用充实解释,对两种语言进行对比研究与分析,从而得出英汉两种语言在语用充实过程中具有一定的相似性与差异性。本文旨在对跨文化语用交际起到指导作用,促使成功交际的实现。
English and Chinese vocabulary are different in the processes of pragmatic enrichment because of the diversity of English and Chinese cultural backgrounds.This paper is based on the perspective of Relevance Theory to make pragmatic interpretation and contrast between English and Chinese.A conclusion can be drawn that there are some similarities and differences between these two languages in the pragmatic processes.The purpose of this paper is to guide cross-culture pragmatical communication and to make contribution to make sure the realization of successful communication.
